Résumé
L’imagologie est une étude qui, à partir des images élaborées, se focalise sur l'analyse de « l’étranger » et essaye de le représenter. En effet, ces images sont, d'un côté, le produit des observations et des jugements de l'auteur sur l'Autre, et de l'autre, celui de sa mentalité et ses pensées. Ainsi, les récits de voyages jouent un rôle primordial dans la représentation de l'Autre. En fait, l'un des thèmes fondamentaux de la littérature de voyage, c'est « l’étranger ». L’objectif de ce travail est d'analyser l’image de l'Iran dans le récit de voyage d'Ella Maillart ; une femme-écrivain suisse. Cette recherche s’intéresse à la manière dont les images se construisent.
En premier lieu, en s’appuyant sur la conception du paysage chez Michel Collot, nous analyserons les images de l'espace géographique et historique présentées par l'auteure. En deuxième lieu, nous nous attacherons aux définitions de Daniel-Henri Pageaux à propos de la représentation de l’Autre du point de vue de l’imagologie, et nous allons voir comment cette image élaborée de l'Iran a-t-elle été abordée. Finalement, pour étayer notre analyse en profondeur, nous nous pencherons sur les données culturelles et sociales de la communauté iranienne à l’époque.

تصویرشناسی «دیگری» را موضوع اصلی خویش قرار داده و با تکیه بر تحلیل تصاویر به معرفی آن می‌پردازد. این تصاویر از یک سو، حاصل مشاهده‌ها و داوری‌های نویسنده از دیگری، و از سوی دیگر، حاصل تفکرات و ذهنیت وی می‌باشد. در این بین، سفرنامه‌ها نیز نقش مهمی در معرفی دیگری ایفا می‌کنند. در واقع، مطالعۀ بیگانه همواره موضوع اصلی ادبیات سفر است. پژوهش حاضر، به مطالعۀ تصویر ارائه شده از کشور ایران پس از جنگ جهانی دوم در سفرنامۀ الا میر، نویسندۀ زن اهل سوییس می‌پردازد. در این مقاله، ابتدا نقش فضای جغرافیایی و تاریخی تصویر شده را در معرفی «دیگری» طبق نظریۀ منظره و طبیعت نزد میشل کولو مورد مطالعه قرار خواهیم داد. سپس، با تکیه بر تعاریف «خود» و «دیگری» از دانیل هانری پاژو، به بررسی شکل‌گیری این تصاویر خواهیم پرداخت، حقایق فرهنگی و اجتماعی جامعۀ ایرانی را از دید نویسنده مورد مطالعه قرار خواهیم داد و از خلال آن، تاثیرات برخورد با دیگری بر روی خود را نیز مطالعه خواهیم نمود.

The Image of Iran in The Cruel Way of Ella Maillart

By relying on image analysis, the imagology introduces the "other" as its main subject. On the one hand, these images are the result of the author's observations and judgments of the other, and on the other hand, they are the output of his thoughts and mentality. Meanwhile, travelogues also play an important role in introducing the »other«. In fact, studying the »foreign« has always been a major issue in travel literature.
This research is interested in the way in which images are constructed and examines the image of Iran after World War II in the travelogue of Ella Maillart, a Swiss woman writer. In this paper, we will first examine the role of the geographical and historical space depicted in the introduction of the »other« according to Michel Collot's theory. Then, relying on the definitions of »self « and »other«a by Daniel-Henry Pageaux, we will examine the formation of the images; we will study the cultural and social realities of post-war global Iranian society from the author's point of view and through it, we will analyze the effects of the other on the self.
