Résumé
Le présent article se penche sur le concept d’équivalence en traduction dont le corpus constitue les extraits d’un roman autochtone canadien Kukum et leurs traductions en persan. L’auteur de l’ouvrage raconte la vie de son arrière-grand-mère. Dans cette biographie ayant comme toile de fond la description de la nature vierge, on a brossé un beau tableau des scènes où se déroulent différentes tranches de la vie des personnages. Certes, ce genre d’écriture exige l’emploi d’un langage rhétorique dans lequel la comparaison, la métaphore et la personnification prennent une place prépondérante. Afin de transférer ces figures de style, nous nous sommes interrogées sur les modalités de rendre ce registre littéraire aussi fidèlement que possible et de la sauvegarde de l’étrangeté du récit non sans présenter un texte compréhensible et agréable à lire pour le public persanophone. Lors de la traduction de l’ouvrage, nous avons été à cheval entre deux approches sourcière et cibliste en nous appuyant sur le concept d’équivalence tantôt formelle, tantôt dynamique, avancé par Eugen Nida, pour ainsi refléter le vouloir-dire de l’auteur sur tous les plans. Quant à la méthodologie, il s’agit d’une étude descriptive et analytique.

Résumé [Persian]
این مقاله به مطالعه معادل گزینی در ترجمه می پردازد. در این راستا، بخش‌هایی از یک رمان بومی کانادایی ،کوکوم، و ترجمه آن به فارسی به عنوان پیکره پژوهش انتخاب شده است. در این اثر نویسنده زندگینامه مادربزرگ خود را روایت می کند. وی در بستر طبیعتی بکر صحنه هایی از دوران مختلف زندگی شخصیت‌های داستان را به تصویر می کشد. بدون شک این نوع نگارش مستلزم استفاده از زبان بلاغی است که در آن مقایسه، استعاره و جانبخشی جایگاه ویژه‌ای دارند. پژوهش بر محور این پرسش است : چگونه می‌توان ترجمه ای روان و زیبا برای خوانندگان فارسی‌زبان ارائه کرد و در عین حال ارزش های ادبی متن از جمله آرایه ها و جذابیت ناشی ازغرابت داستان را حفظ نمود؟ هنگام ترجمه این اثر، رویکرد ما گاه مبداء گرا و گاه مقصدگرا بوده و با تکیه بر مسئله معادل گزینی در ترجمه ، گاهی صوری، گاهی پویا، که توسط اوژن نیدا ارائه شده کوشیده ایم تا مفهوم مورد نظر نویسنده در در تمام موارد منعکس گردد. روش پژوهش در مقاله توصیفی و تحلیلی است.

Equivalence in the translation of an indigenous literary work: Study of the Native American novel Kukum
Résumé [English]
This article examines the concept of equivalence in translation, the corpus of which constitutes extracts from an indigenous Canadian novel Kukum and their translations into Persian. The author of the work recounts the life of his great-grandmother. In this biography with the description of virgin nature as a backdrop, we have painted a beautiful picture of the scenes where different sections of the characters' lives take place. Certainly, this type of writing requires the use of rhetorical language in which comparison, metaphor and personification take a preponderant place. In order to transfer these figures of speech, we wondered about the modalities of rendering this literary register as faithfully as possible and of safeguarding the strangeness of the story without presenting a text that is understandable and pleasant to read for the Persian-speaking public. During the translation of the work, we navigate between two approaches: sourcing and targeting, relying on the concept of equivalence, sometimes formal, sometimes dynamic, put forward by Eugen Nida, to thus reflect the meaning of the author on all levels. As for the methodology, it is a descriptive and analytical study.
