چکیده

غنای دنیای تخیل عطار و نگاه عمیقاً عرفانی او به جهان ترجمه‌‌ی اثرش منطق الطیر را دشوار می‌کند. به باور نویسندگان این مقاله، در ژانر ترجمه‌ی عرفانی، انتقال دقیق «تصویرـ معنا» در نسخه‌ی ترجمه‌شده ضروری است، به طوری که اثرگذاری متن ترجمه‌شده بر خواننده‌‌اش مشابه با اثری باشد که متن اصلی بر خواننده‌ی آن دارد و، به بیان دیگر، خواننده‌ی متن فرانسوی دریافتی مشابه با خواننده‌ی متن فارسی داشته باشد. برای این کار لازم است که دنیای خیال شاعر را به‌خوبی بشناسیم تا بتوانیم روح تخیل و جهان‌بینی او را در اثرش به‌طور زنده دریابیم و زندگی کنیم. ما در این مقاله، بر اساس دسته‌بندی انواع ترجمه افیم اتکین که  در کتابش با عنوان هنری در بحران آمده، ترجمه فرانسوی شعر عطار را بررسی کرده‌ایم تا ضرورت «ترجمه-تفسیر» و یا «ترجمه-بازآفرینی» را در حوزه‌ی شعر عرفانی نشان دهیم. به باور نویسندگان این مقاله، نسخه‌ی ترجمه‌ی موزون و منظوم لیلی انور و نیز شیوه ترجمه وی ارزش تأمل و تحلیل دارد.

Translation of Mystical Poetry as “Recreation and Interpretation”: a Review of a translation of Mantiq at-Tayr

چکیده [English]

The richness of Attār’s world of imagination and his deeply mystical vision of the world makes it difficult to translate his work Mantiq al-Tayr. The authors of the present paper believe that, in translation of mystical works, the adequate and acute transference of the «image-sense» of the original in the translated version is essential, so that the reader of L2 (French) receives the same effect as the reader of L1 (Persian). To do this, it is necessary to know the imaginary world of the poet so as to be able to perceive the spirit of his imagination and worldview via interpretation. Drawing on Efim Etkind’s categorization of translation, presented in his book An art in crisis, we have analyzed a French translation of the poetry of ‘Attār, to address the necessity of a «translation-recreation» or a «translation-interpretation», for this poetic-mystical domain. The versified translation and translation method of Leili Anvar, the translator of this work, is considered to be worthy of further study and deliberation.
